UUF has a vibrant and exciting music program.
Children and youths who sing or play an instrument
At UUF, joining a choir means:
- Meeting other people who share a love for music.
- Having the pleasure of being part of a supportive, ongoing group, singing at Sunday services once or twice a month.
- Developing confidence and poise when performing.
- Experiencing music from different cultures and time periods
- Learning the life-long skills of singing and reading music.
Feeling the appreciation of the congregation for the joy you bring.
The Shalom Chorus is for all children and youth in grades K-12. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Younger singers are dismissed after thirty to forty minutes; older youths rehearse more advanced repertoire until approximately 7:45 p.m.
