Parent Involvement It takes many volunteers to
make the Religious Education Program at UUF a success. Here is a partial list of how you
can help the RE Program:
o Teach RE classes
|
A Safe Community At UUF, we continue to work to make our RE classes and activities safe for all children. An adult teacher and one assistant are assigned to every classroom, and we have recently begun running background checks on all teaching volunteers and paid employees who work with our children. No identifiable photos of a child will ever be published without parental consent, and even with permission, no child will be named in any published photo. While children
wear name tags in their classrooms, name tags are removed before they leave class.
Children often wish to have fun on the playground after RE classes, but we remind parents
that once classes are dismissed, they must supervise their childrenespecially on the
playground. We will continue to look for ways to improve our safety and welcome your feedback. At UUF, we feel the time and money spent to make our fellowship a safe place for all our children is well spent. |

Holiday Calendar/Important Dates |
Religious Education Registration All children and youth taking part in the Religious Education Program at UUF need to have a current, updated registration form on file, completed annually or whenever a childs living situation changes. Parents can register their children at the registration booth, which is set up for two Sundays before classes begin in August. However, UUF operates on a rolling registration calendarany time new people wish to attend UUF RE classes, they can register. |
